Pleato moonlights for 5-live and he’s ITV’s Big Beast. And he’s been doing it for years. Now imagine please, the entire personnel of your team of 1988 still playing now, in 2006. Wouldn’t you be a tad bored of them? Not ‘alf. That’s the problem with our Dave and so many of the other old stagers in the pundit’s chair. Football, like life, moves on, but they’re still there, picking up their pension. There’s very few who can last the distance (Hanson, Gray) but our Dave was only ever acceptable to a few die-hard Luton fans, fond of grotesque suits and silly dances at Maine Road. Dave may be just about OK as a pundit, he’s improved a bit over the years, quite technical and all that, but he’s got an awful voice, he can’t pronounce foreign names and he’s just unpopular. Simple as that.

Well there’s a problem there cos Gatuso they just went with Ronaldhino. They thought he was gonna play the one two. Gave too much space for Eto’o and once again he finds the little bit of space to get a crack at goal. Not for the first time this half.

Well one of the few times Barcelona managed to get a three on three there Giully broke. Ronaldhino the master, is given the ball. Now it was up to him. Giully tried to go inside Serginho. He covered that, made his angle, beaten Dida, couldn’t score.
